Win 52, buy-stop 43

Chicago, without the scrap paper.

Chicago stays at the table. You exchange, compare suits and take the last trick in hand. ProtocolPlay is the sheet you no longer keep on your knee: combination tiles, buy-stop, reduce and a dealer that rotates without a debate.

House rules you already know

The ready template sets win threshold 52, buy-stop 43, three exchanges, a rotating dealer and +5 for the last trick. Hearts rank highest in suit comparison. A royal wins the deal at once. If your table uses other thresholds, change them in the template once — they follow every new evening.

How a deal is entered

When someone has a pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush or royal, you tap the tile. You do not type free numbers mid-deal. After play, reduce is available from your rules. The app tracks the dealer so you can skip pointing and guessing.

A display amount, if you want one

Many tables count a figure from the house rule, for example a base plus an amount per point interval. In the Chicago family that is often 5 plus 1 per 5 points, in the currency you chose. It shows in the protocol. The app is not a pot, not a transfer and not a party to how you settle afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

What is buy-stop?

When a player reaches buy-stop — 43 in the default template — they get no more card exchanges at the table. Points can still be awarded. The win threshold is still 52. You can set other numbers if the table plays differently.

Is a royal an instant win?

Yes in the ready template. A royal ends the deal as an immediate win.

Can we change 52 and 43?

Yes. The template editor sets thresholds, exchanges and house amounts. You choose the house rules. The app only writes the protocol.
